The executable file sightspeed.exe is the file corresponding to the application SightSpeed Video Messenger, developed by SightSpeed, Inc. and now owned by Logitech. Sightspeed.exe or SightSpeed is a videoconferencing program. A videoconferencing software allows a user to pool a certain number of persons to interact with each other. Within sightspeed.exe or SightSpeed Video Messenger, a user may use voice over Internet Protocol, or voIP, for computer-to-computer calls, as well as calls made to and received from regular telephones. A SightSpeed Video Messenger user may also use the program for sending instant messages, for sending video mail messages to an email address and for hosting a videoconference of not more than nine participants. There are both free and paid versions available for this program. Sightspeed.exe is not a Windows system file and appears as a visible window once the program is opened.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. sightspeed.exe. is used by SightSpeed, If you shut down sightspeed.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop sightspeed.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is SightSpeed, from your system.
