What is  service.dll

The service.dll process is also known as the BhoNew Module, which forms part of a software name BhoNew Module or SmileyDistrict Optimizer. It is located in a subdirectory folder under C:\Windows\System32. It is a type of a dynamically linked library file which, when run with an executable file, will enable a certain program to run efficiently. It is also has a Browser Helper Object (BHO) which enables a certain function in the Internet Browser to be maximized or added. Being a BHO file, it holds a unique BHO identification number of F85E86D8-F796-4C97-AAA2-26664A98A42C or 83B14523-CBC9-447B-8BIE-2482DB2ABE73. It is considered to be a hidden file but it has the capacity to monitor the activities running throughout the Windows internet broswer. Although it s not a Windows core file, it is also able to monitor and alter applications and programs in the system sometimes causing it to be hidden.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. service.dll. is used by BhoNew Module or SmileyDistrict Optimizer, If you shut down service.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
