What is  sentinel.sys

Sentinel.sys is a process also known as the Sentinel System Driver NT Parallel driver or the Rainbow Technologies Sentinel Driver. This process belongs to the Sentinel System Driver which is owned by Rainbow Technologies. Sentinel.sys is usually located under the C: Directory down the Windows folder then systems32 and drivers. This file has the size of 76,288 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). But this size may differ depending on the operating system used. This program can be started or can be ceased through the Control Panel. This file type is not a Windows file type and does not belong to the windows core system files. Sentinel.sys is file which is compressed which makes the size smaller than the original size of the file. This file only works on the Microsoft Operating system such as Windows XP, Window Vista, Window 7. This process was digitally signed by Rainbow Technologies and this only means that this process belongs to the well trusted company of the Microsoft Operating system.
