The securecrt.exe process is also known as VanDyke Software SecureCRT. This EXE file was developed by VanDyke Software. The VanDyke Software SecureCRT is a software program which helps users to maintain equal balance between a computer’s tough security system and easy access to various network and websites. This software program allows the user to browse the internet without having to be troubled on various security warnings which usually pop up automatically on computer screens. The VanDyke Software SecureCRT program file is able to configure a user’s server, routers, and other network services. It also secures file transfers and routes dangerous or harmful data through a secure tunnel. The VanDyke Software SecureCRT has a recorded file size of 1,843,289 bytes and is located in the C:\Program Files subfolders. A USB is needed for this program file to connect to a Local Area Network (LAN) or the Internet.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. securecrt.exe. is used by VanDyke Software SecureCRT, If you shut down securecrt.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop securecrt.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is VanDyke Software SecureCRT, from your system.
