The scvvhost.exe file is an executable process that has been reported as a variant of the FORBOT-DH worm, which means the scvvhost.exe file may possibly be a malicious application, and some users claimed the scvvhost.exe file is disguised by its authors as a legitimate Windows update. The scvvhost.exe process has also been reported by a few users as a variant of a Trojan family. The scvvhost.exe file, according to some user reports, is capable of injecting malicious code into the Windows System Registry, in order for the scvvhost.exe process to automatically initialize during system startup and operate in the background, unseen or undetected by the user, during system runtime. The scvvhost.exe process has been reported to negatively affect the operations of the Windows System Registry, the Windows Task Manager and the Windows MS Config applet of the infected system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. scvvhost.exe. is used by FORBOT-DH Worm/Trojan, If you shut down scvvhost.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop scvvhost.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is FORBOT-DH Worm/Trojan, from your system.
