The file srcub2k.exe is also known as Srubber application which is included in the Hewlett-Packard Deskjet pirnters. The task of the software is to remove the registry entries the Hewlett-Packard printer in which the software is bundled with. This software should manually started although the some of the Deskjet Printers for HP will be using this software for per-installation clean-up task. This software has a window and has the registry key HEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce. This file does not belong to the windows system file. This file usually has the size of 65,536 bytes on the Hard Disk Drive but usually differs on the Operating Systems used. This software can be usually found in C:\Documents and Settings. And if found in other places the user must have a software scanner to ensure the security of the Operating System as well as the safety of the data. The user may have the option to remove the process by fully removing software which this process is associated with.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. scrub2k.exe. is used by Scrubber, If you shut down scrub2k.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop scrub2k.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Scrubber, from your system.
