The file schedulersvc.exe is called NTI Now Backup Standard or NTI Backup Now (version 5 Schedulersvc NT Service), that belongs to software NTI Backup Now from NewTech Infosystems. This software offers total backup solution for the entire PC with a rapid PC and data restore feature. The backup feature includes incremental backups for both complete system and file folder backup. The most commonly used files are grouped into the main categories of multi-media, office, email, and Internet, and the user can choose the files that requires backup. The backup file destination can be internal and external hard drives, optical drives, pen drives, and network and NAS drives. When the backup file destination is full, the feature called destination capacity alert warns the user. The backup capability supports compression and a secure 256-bit encryption. The software's restore feature include a boot from a C/DVD disc or USB hard drive that calls for one-click restore to prepare the replacement hard drive. The restore function can be set to a different time, for example before the system was infected by a virus or corrupted by malware.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. schedulersvc.exe. is used by NTI Backup Now, If you shut down schedulersvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop schedulersvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is NTI Backup Now, from your system.
