What is  sc.exe

The sc.exe process is installed in the Windows operating system and supplies the computer with utilities that develops services for Windows. This process communicates with installed services and the Service Controller. The sc.exe process recovers and sets the control information about specific services. It can be used to test and debug other service programs. The properties of the services are stored within the registry and can be set to control how the applications of the services are started from boot time and to be operated as the background processes. The file sc.exe parameters can integrate a specific service, regain the current status of a specific service, and also start and stop a service. Batch files can be created by the users that can call various commands to implement the startup or shutdown sequence of the services. This process is an essential file of the computer system and should not be terminated. It can enhance the performance of the computer system and is an executable file.
