What is  sbtis.sys

The sbtis.sys process is a driver file that is called as Sunbelt TDI Inspection System, which is a part of the software product Sunbelt Personal Firewall, developed by Sunbelt Software, Inc., and digitally signed from GFI Software Inc. (Symantec Time Stamping Services Signer - G3). The sbtis.sys driver file that makes up the software is an essential component, and is usually found in C:\Windows folder or C:\Program Files folder. Also known as CounterSpy, Sunbelt Personal Firewall is actually originated from the program Kerio Personal Firewall, which is its former name and originally created by Kerio Technologies. It was the year 2005 in December when Sunbelt Software, Inc. acquired the product as its own. As of these days, the Sunbelt Personal Firewall software is no longer available for purchase or download. It’s already been discontinued since May of 2011, while technical support for the application has been stopped since December 2011.
