What is  savroam.exe

The savroam.exe process is an executable file for Windows operating systems, and a part of the program Symantecs AntiVirus suite, also known as Symantec SAVRoam, Symantec Client Security, Symantec AntiVirus Client, Deep Space Explorer, and Verizon Media Manager, which is developed by Symantec . The file savroam.exe provides roaming user support, and offers secure or stable running of the computer. This means that the file is not advisable to delete, since its main function is to help fight virus, worm, spyware, malware, and Trojan. The process is usually located in the folder C:\Program Files, or C:\Windows. Once installed, the Symantecs AntiVirus program starts running during startup and keeps functioning when the computer is used or turned on. With that said, the savroam.exe file, and other components of the program, are visible in the Task Manager. It has more than 20 variants of file size depending on the kind of Windows OS used. Yet, it is a Verisign file, considered to be a safe process in the system.
