What is  sapisvr.exe

Developed by Microsoft, sapisvr.exe is the process file for Windows Speech Recognition, the software that empowers the users in interacting with their computers using the human audible voice. The software is especially programmed for the limited mouse usage or no mouse usage at all, where the documents and emails are produced by dictation or voice commands. Speech Recognition (SR) is equipped with speech recognizing system tools where the speaker reads into and have the spoken words appear on the screen. These system tools analyze a specific voice and fine tune it, resulting in accurate transcription. This program is termed “Speaker Dependent” or “Speaker Reliant” systems. Speech recognizing applications include speaker user interfaces like voice dialing by saying "Call home" or by call routing and mentioning "I would like to place a collect call". For appliance control, the user utilizes a podcast to make a data entry like entering a telephone number. Speech recognizing tools identifies the speakers voice, and not what he is saying, which serves as a security as well.
