Basically referred to as Quicken Load DLLs, the qwdlls.exe file is an important component of the software Quicken, a product developed by Intuit, Inc. Quicken, which comes in different versions, including version 98, 2000, 2001, 2001 Home & Business, 2002, and 2003, is a type of finance management application for home and business use. Also called as Quicken Startup, Quicken Load DLLs, or qwdlls.exe, is the launcher of the software. This is the module that actually executes the software to work and perform the functions expected by the user. It simply means that the qwdlls.exe file is an important component, because it has the capability to enable the program in performing its task. The deletion or stopping of this file can cause a disruption of using the software. Therefore, the qwdlls.exe file needs to be kept running in the background, when it is stored on the computer system, regardless of the Windows OS used.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. qwdlls.exe. is used by Quicken, If you shut down qwdlls.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop qwdlls.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Quicken, from your system.
