NVIDIA nView Desktop and Window Manager, installed via the executable file nview.dll, is included in the software for NVIDIA nView Desktop and Window Manager or NVIDIA nView Control Panel. The file loads modules that enable an application that allows users to connect monitors to a single PC and have the same desktop display for all attached monitors. In other words, the file enables the application that provides users with multiple desktop display monitors. This is not a driver file so disabling it should not cause any errors with your NVidia cards or devices. If you do not want to utilize the multiple display functions of the software, you may disable the file. Some users have cited that the file caused their computers to freeze, hang or crash. Generally, users have opted to disable the file, especially after it was found to behave negatively on the system. Process file location is usually C:\Widnows\System 32\nview.dll.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nview.dll. is used by NVIDIA nView Desktop and Window Manager, If you shut down nview.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop nview.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is NVIDIA nView Desktop and Window Manager, from your system.
