The process ntsyslog.exe is determined as the launch driver for NTSyslog. This is an application for Microsoft Windows 4.0 and Microsoft Windows 2000. This file is considered as a Windows Service, although it is associated with Sabernet. This is a free software that users can easily redistribute and even modify as it falls under the General Public License. It is distributed by the Free software foundation, and as it is acquired freely, there is no warranty included. It also contains a copy of the GNU Public License agreement, to provide the users a better understanding of free file distribution. The main function is to enable the user to format System applications, Security settings and logs into a single line. This will enable the service to send them to a syslog host.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ntsyslog.exe. is used by NT SysLog distributed by Free Software Foundation, If you shut down ntsyslog.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ntsyslog.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is NT SysLog distributed by Free Software Foundation, from your system.
