The file that executes with ntdbsmgr.exe is an application known as Database Service Manager. This is a process that is included in the software that installs Pervasive PSQL 10.30. The software features processes that will enable users to share data with their open database clients. The file installs in the Program Files folder, written in the following command line: C:\Prorgam Files\Pervasive Software\PSQL\Bin\ntdbsmgr.exe. Known file size is 109.28 KB. While the application may be helpful when it comes to database management, the process appears to be using up all of the system’s memory; as related by users. The file’s average RAM usage is pegged at 654.61 MB. It uses up about 780.02 MB of committed virtual memory, and this size goes up to 783.19 MB. Working set memory averages at 15.08 MB, and this reaches up to 150.11 MB. This is perhaps why a lot of users have been reporting about system crashes and very slow CPU speed.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ntdbsmgr.exe. is used by Database Service Manager, If you shut down ntdbsmgr.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ntdbsmgr.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Database Service Manager, from your system.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as Database Service Manager, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application.
