What is  nisvcloc.exe

Service Locator or NI Service Locator is the service name of the process called nisvcloc.exe, which is a type of an executable or EXE file, and is essentially a part of the application National Instruments Service Locator, otherwise known as NISVCLOC or National Instruments Corp. LabView, which is developed by National Instruments Corp. During the installation process of the software product, nisvcloc.exe is added, registered into the Windows registry, stored on a folder location, usually in C:\Program Files, or C:\Documents and Settings, and automatically run in the background as a service of the program that houses it. Other than that, this particular file process is compatible with most or all versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, or Windows OS, which include Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME, but whichever OS is used, this module has to remain active and continue to run in the background, since it is digitally signed from National Instruments Corporation - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nisvcloc.exe. is used by National Instruments Service Locator, If you shut down nisvcloc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
