It controls how and where the software should run. It is a competent safeguard against software piracy. The License Manager will allow software developers to set different limits and terms for the distribution of its software. There are different types of licenses they can issue, like trial licenses, limited usage licenses, activation licenses and feature licenses. The license manager can facilitate the conditions for all these.
