The executable file netscp.exe is associated with the Netscape web browser by Netscape Communications (AOL). This is the file that launches the Netscape browser which was associated with America Online (AOL). As a web browser, the main task of Netscape is to retrieve and present data from the internet. It also facilitates all forms of exchange through the internet. Access to websites and all its functions are donw on the web browser. Netscape was launced in 1994 in the form of the Netscape Navigator. Netscape became the most popular browser in the world. Different versions of the software were developed subsequently, including some of the later versions that were made in partnership with the Mozilla group. Netscape was the leading browser and its main competitor was Microsoft Internet Explorer. The marketing share dwindled and Netscape was discontinued in 2008.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. netscp.exe. is used by Netscape Web Browser by Netscape Communications, If you shut down netscp.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop netscp.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Netscape Web Browser by Netscape Communications, from your system.
