NetfxUpdate Application is the name of the netfxupdate.exe file. This software belongs to the Microsoft Application specifically the Microsoft .Net framework. This file is considered a part of the Windows Service Pack Files which deals with the latest programs to improve the Windows XP Operating System. And this program literally connects to the Internet and requests the designated files to be downloaded for the improvement of the Operating System. This file is a trusted file of the Microsoft Windows Operating System (OS).The file can be usually found in the C:\Windows and has the known file size of 106,496 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). But the sizes may vary in different versions of Operating Systems made by Microsoft and these Operating systems are Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. The user may still remove the file by removing the entire program using the Add/Remove Utility in the Control Panel of Microsoft Windows Operating System.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. netfxupdate.exe. is used by .Netframework, If you shut down netfxupdate.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop netfxupdate.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is .Netframework, from your system.
