The process nclusbsrv.exe, known as NclUSBSrv Application, belongs to software PC Connectivity Solution by Nokia. This free PC software allows users to connect a Nokia device to a PC and access mobile contents as if the device and the PC are one. Users of this application can enable their desktop PC to receive information about incoming calls and new messages to their Nokia device. The application-programming interface (API) provides a main window for the Nokia device, which is used to create, edit, and send messages to contacts. The PC Connectivity Solution is a component of the Nokia PC Connectivity API (PCCAPI) program that aims to expand PC applications with device connectivity. PCCAPI enables developers of PC applications to add device-connectivity capabilities to their applications for Series 40 and S60 devices supported by the Nokia PC Suite. Through PCCAPI, there is no need for developers of PC applications to deal with the complexities of the connectivity and transmission protocols and the need to understand the architecture of connected devices.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nclusbsrv.exe. is used by PC Connectivity Solution, If you shut down nclusbsrv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop nclusbsrv.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is PC Connectivity Solution, from your system.
