The process file nbkctrl.exe is recognized as the software launcher for NovaStor Backup Service. This software is licensed by NovaStor. The software has the main function of backing up files in the computer. NovaStor is a third party backup software, and it has to be downloaded or installed separately. It provides data security for individual users or even small companies with an established network. Since setting up a comprehensive backup service can be a complicated undertaking, it is usually performed by an IT professional. The software can take over that task.
