What is  msiexec.dll

The msiexec.dll file has been reported by many users as a malicious program disguised as a legitimate Dynamic Link Library (DLL) module, and the same user reports claim that the msiexec.dll process is a variant of the Infostealer.Bzup application, which is a known spyware. Some users reported that the msiexec.dll process is also embedded with Trojan-like functionalities. The same users said the msiexec.dll process, upon its successful placement and activation in the Windows-based system, is capable of searching for system vulnerabilities, particularly unprotected TCP/IP network ports that it can exploit and use to initiate contact with remote servers that are operated and managed by the authors of the msiexec.dll spyware. According to the same users, the msiexec.dll then begins to upload private user data and Internet surfing information this malicious program has secretly collected from the infected system and its default Web browser to those predesignated Web servers, without user consent.

How can I stop msiexec.dll and should I?

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. msiexec.dll. is used by Infostealer.Bzup Spyware, If you shut down msiexec.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop msiexec.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Infostealer.Bzup Spyware, from your system.
