MsgTranAgt is the service name termed for the process msgtranagt.exe, which is an instance of an executable or EXE file, and is a component of the software product called as ATK Hotkey or Packard Bell ImageWriter, which is developed by ASUS or ASUSTeK Computer Inc., or PEGATRON CORPORATION. The msgtranagt.exe file is basically a part of the hotkey utility tool of ASUS computers, so it is a pre-installed module, which runs in the background during the startup of the Windows. The msgtranagt.exe file is also digitally signed by ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2, which makes it more essential to keep running in the system. In addition, the msgtranagt.exe file is able to run in certain versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems,including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. msgtranagt.exe. is used by ATK Hotkey or Packard Bell ImageWriter, If you shut down msgtranagt.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop msgtranagt.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ATK Hotkey or Packard Bell ImageWriter, from your system.
