The mccibootstrapper.exe file is an executable application process that comes bundled with certain Internet connection management and ISP (Internet Service Provider) support access applications that are packaged as client tools for Windows-based systems. These ISP support access and connection management client tools that specifically implement the mccibootstrapper.exe process as one of its components include the BellSouth FastAccess DSL client program, the TELUS Report Agent module and the Motive Report Agent applet among others distributed by various ISP providers that integrate Motive Communications technology into their applications, products and support services. The mccibootstrapper.exe file is placed in the Windows-based system upon the installation of these applications, and the mccibootstrapper.exe process is integrated into the installer distributions of these client programs developed for the subscribers of these ISPs.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. mccibootstrapper.exe. is used by BellSouth FastAccess DSL Client and TELUS Report Agent Module and Motive Report Agent Module, If you shut down mccibootstrapper.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
