The kvoop.exe process is known as KeyView and was created by the company Autonomy, Inc. This process is a part of SMS SMTP 5 and is responsible in performing out of process (OOP) True Type file filtering and identification. This process is responsible for scanning the user’s computer system whenever it is running Endpoint Discovery to search confidential information that is stored on the endpoint system. The kvoop.exe is also responsible in using full-text indexing attachments. Databases’ problems can be solved by deleting full text indexes, re-creating indexes and unchecking the option to index attachments. This file is associated with Symantec Antivirus. Users consider the kvoop.exe process as an essential component of Windows operating system or any installed applications. This file is considered to be safe and has no major risks of encountering malicious threats. This is an executable program. For optimal use, this file should not be terminated as it may cause the computer system to behave erratically.
