The process launched by kl1.sys is part of Kaspersky’s antivirus software. The file is generally related to Kaspersky Unified driver, and also to Kaspersky Anti-Hacker Only driver. The directory of the file is C:\Windows\System 32\Drivers\ kl1.sys. Although this is not a Windows system process, users do not suggest disabling the file from launching with Windows startup because virus intrusions may occur during the startup process. To be able to fully utilize the functions of the file, users also recommend keeping the file running in the background, especially when surfing through the Internet; because virus and malware attacks usually occur through browsing activities.
