The kavo.exe process has been reported by many users as a malicious executable program file associated with the Trojan.Lineage.Gen!pac.3 program, which is a family of Trojans known to infect vulnerable Windows-based systems. These same user reports stated that the kavo.exe process, upon its successful placement and activation in the system, is capable of creating registry keys and entries that it can then inject into the Windows System Registry during system runtime without user consent, and these malicious registry keys and entries allow the kavo.exe process to automatically initialize during system startup. Some users claimed that the kavo.exe process, upon its successful activation during system startup, is capable of covertly operating as a background process during system runtime, in order to search for system vulnerabilities, primarily unsecure TCP/IP network ports that it can exploit and use to initiate contact with remote servers that are managed and operated by its authors.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. kavo.exe. is used by Trojan.Lineage.Gen!pac.3 , If you shut down kavo.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop kavo.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Trojan.Lineage.Gen!pac.3 , from your system.
