Developed by Knowles Acoustics, kadxmain.exe is the file executable for KADxMain IntelliSonic Speech Enhancement, a software for rendering speech from the user’s selected direction, while canceling the interfering speech coming from other direction, minimizing the effects of the environmental noises and eliminating the acoustic echo feedback. Owned by Knowles Electronics, Knowles Acoustics has incorporated the IntelliSonic software in Tablet PCs. The usage and accuracy of mobile communications is impeded by the noise impact from the environment. It is based on acoustic algorithms beam-forming, echo-cancellation, and noise cancellation. Applications like the IP telephony, audio note-taking, and voice recognition are enabled for this hands-free operation. Its Tablet PC edition runs on Windows XP and integrates the speech enhancement technology by allowing the application to attain SNR levels required for high-level voice recognition accuracy and clarity over the telephony bandwidth or VoIP applications without the encumbrances of a handheld, close-held, device like the headset microphone.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. kadxmain.exe. is used by Knowles Acoustics, If you shut down kadxmain.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop kadxmain.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Knowles Acoustics, from your system.
