The file hpt3xx.sys, known as HP3txx Mini Port Driver, belongs to software Rocket 100 from HighPoint Technologies. Rocket 100 Non-RAID 2-channel IDE Adapter Controller Card is a 2-channel ATA host adapter that supports up to four hard disks and HD capacity exceeding 137 GB. It has bootable disk supports and features CRC error checking of up to 100 MB/s. The miniport driver hpt3xx.sys directly manages installed network adapters and use NDIS (Network Driver Interface Specification) to communicate with the adapter hardware. The miniport driver presents an interface that allows the protocol driver to configure the adapter and to send and receive packet over the network. The host side interface of Rocket 100 is 32 bits, 33/66MHz PCI, while the disk interface is Ultra DMA/ ATA 100. It features a 4-layer PCB, a HighPoint HPT370 chipset, and is equipped with four disk connections.
