The file hpqtoaster.exe launches a process that is generally called Hpq toaster Module. The process is usually already pre-existing in HP laptop machines, which translates to the file already being present when the machine is purchased. It appears to be associated with two applications. The first one has something to do with the wireless platform of your HP machine, particularly for connecting to wireless networks for Internet surfing. Some users claim to see the file pop-up whenever they enable wireless connectivity. The file supposedly displays the status of your WLAN connection, and is installed by HP Wireless Assistant. The second process is related to volume control. The file enables the Graphical User Interface for volume control buttons. It only appears when the volume control buttons are utilized. Since the functions of the file seem a bit vague, users mostly choose to allow the file to stay enabled to avoid application errors. For both processes, the file’s default folder is C:\Program Files.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hpqtoaster.exe. is used by Hpq Toaster Module, If you shut down hpqtoaster.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hpqtoaster.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Hpq Toaster Module, from your system.
