The hpfsched.exe file is a process that is used by HP DeskJet series of printers including 690C, 660C, 680C and g670C created by Hewlett-Packard Company. Its task is to constantly remind the user to clean the DeskJet cartridges. This is to help maintain high quality of printing. The hpfsched.exe process activates the popup for this reminder. It requires medium memory usage. It is not a system process. It runs in the background. DeskJet is a brand of inkjet printers. These series of printers offer a range of models from domestic to industrial with the largest models known as DesignJet.
