What is hndserver.exe
The hndserver.exe file is a process used by the application HandyCafe Server created by Ates Software. This process sends and receives data through open ports to and from the Internet or LAN. It is not a core file for Windows. It can record inputs and control or monitor other applications. It lets you control and monitor clients from the Server. You can manage computers remotely from your own desk. HandyCafe is designed to work for managing libraries, Internet cafés, schools and similar places that use a network of computers with several personnel, customers or members using them. You can browse, wake up, manage or shut down any computer within the network through the Remote Desktop. You can also set bandwidth limitations. It enables firewall, and lets you set banned Websites, connection rules and content filtering. It has WOL [Wake on LAN] support to wake up all computers. You can limit, add, resume or pause time.
How can I stop hndserver.exe and should I?
Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hndserver.exe. is used by HandyCafe Server, If you shut down hndserver.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
