The hiddaemon.exe file is the process HIDDAEMON.exe used by the application Generic Provider developed by FormaMed. The program runs when you start Windows. It uses the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. It Is not a system process. Generic Provider is a site that offers two different programs. One is a tool for maintaining medical devices. The other program is an e-training for maintaining first aid skills. The maintenance tool offers complete tracking of consumables and defibrillators. It allows you to manage emergency bags effectively. The Generic Provider enables the hardware to be operational and for equipment orders to be easily accomplished. It will provide several options once the equipment data and consumables have been listed on the program such as dating of monthly checks, check lists, due warnings, reminder phone calls, list of appliances and their conditions. The e-training is created and reserved for company customers training for FormaMed SarL emergency care. It provides a personalized access code to customers who attended the classes. It also lets them view course materials for the training received. It also includes documents, videos, algorithms and more.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hiddaemon.exe. is used by Generic Provider, If you shut down hiddaemon.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hiddaemon.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Generic Provider, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as Generic Provider, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application.
