The hcdll2_ex_x64.exe file is a process that is part of the application HardCopy. It is not a core file for Windows. This program does not use a visible window. It is a non-system process that originates from the software installed in the system. It can record inputs. HardCopy is a software that allows you to capture screenshots on Windows. You can print out or save your current window or your current screen. It uses an icon on the system tray that allows you to print the current screen. You can cut captured images and change the color shade. You can save pictures, copy them to the Clipboard, edit them using any imaging application or print them. It enables you to capture rectangular portions of the screen or a complete window. It lets you work with SAP R/3 or any other application.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hcdll2_ex_x64.exe. is used by HardCopy, If you shut down hcdll2_ex_x64.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hcdll2_ex_x64.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is HardCopy, from your system.
