The hamachi-2-ui.exe is an executable file which is part of the Hamachi Client application. It has been developed by LogMeIn, Incorporated. The application is a zero-configuration virtual private network (VPN) program. It has the ability to connect different computers without reconfiguring them. Through the hamachi-2-ui.exe process, the user can access the computers by establishing an Internet connection that is similar to the connection between computers when they are connected over a local area network. Thus, the Hamachi Client application is VPN system that is consisted of a server cluster which is installed on the computers. The client application controls and maintains the connection to the server cluster. With hamachi-2-ui.exe, the client keeps all its tunnels and begins checking their status once the connection to the server is lost. The system will inform the other users of the disconnection. It will also allow the Hamachi connections to carry on between network problems and during periods of server unavailability.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hamachi-2-ui.exe. is used by Hamachi Client, If you shut down hamachi-2-ui.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
