It backs up data such as E-mails, music, system files, documents, E-books, pictures and videos. It works in the background while backing up data. It allows retrieval of deleted files. It offers Continuous Data Protection or CDP to backup files. It uses Incremental Block Level to save space and time for backing up changes in a file. It has a Smart Mode to adjust CPU and memory automatically based on computer usage. Turbo Mode allows faster backup. It enables pause/resume of backups. It provides an icon on the system tray to check backup status.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gstimelinesearch.exe. is used by Genie Timeline Free, If you shut down gstimelinesearch.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop gstimelinesearch.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Genie Timeline Free, from your system.
