The gps.exe file is an executable process that is included in the program files of the Sony Giga Pocket software, which is an application that is bundled with certain Sony VAIO desktops. The Sony Giga Pocket software allows users to implement a set of integrated features for recording television programs using their Sony VAIO desktop systems. The gps.exe process is used by the Sony Giga Pocket software as its executable dispatcher file, which means the gps.exe process calls on other associated program files and modules of the Sony Giga Pocket software when activated, in order to load the Sony Giga Pocket application unto the system.
