What is  googletoolbar1.dll

The file googletoolbar1.dll, known as Google IE Client Toolbar, belongs to software Google Toolbar, which is an Internet browser toolbar that is available only for Internet Explorer and Firefox. The toolbar is located at the top of the browser's tab bar and provides the user with a search box to carry out Web searches. It allows direct access to the Google search functionality from any webpage and automatically locates search terms on the Web page with each word highlighted in its color. Google features a number of tools for the user, which include Autofill that enables auto-completion of Web forms with information saved into the computer, BlogThis for posting of links to Blogger.com weblogs, and AutoLink for a US address on a Web page to a Google map, package tracking, and links for iSBN numbers. Other features that have been included to the later versions of the toolbar are the Quick Search Box feature that provides search functionality outside of the browser, and Sidewiki that allows users to make comments on any Web page.
