Browser helper objects like Google AFE are installed as add-on component to the Internet browser, which is designed to customize its behavior in some way. The BHO runs automatically every time that the browser is launched, and helps the browser by providing additional functionality. Google AFE is a safe program that is sometimes pre-installed in some Dell computers before the units are shipped to customers. This BHO adds functionality to the Internet browser by redirecting errors in typed search addresses. If the user is not comfortable with the browser redirection due to mistyped URLs or considers this BHO unnecessary, it can be uninstalled from the computer's control panel by choosing the option 'Add or Remove Programs'.
