The file gmrman.exe, known as Global Gamera Messaging Manager, belongs to software Gamera Manager by Sony. The process Gamera Manager relates to the Gamera 2000 game, with a version that is played in the Sony PlayStation. Gamera 2000 is a shoot-'em-up game developed by Digital Frontier and published by Virgin Interactive that was published in Japan in 1997. This shooting game allows the user to control a fighter airplane in order to fight enemies alongside with the virtual character Gamera. Gamera flies with the player, and can be commanded to shoot fireballs or perform spinning rocket shell attacks in order to defeat the enemies, which are aliens that have invaded the earth. It is a difficult shooting game, but the developers made the game accessible by including an easy mode. The game involves a constantly moving rail shooter, and the user can flip the view from left to right or front and back, in order to shoot in those directions. The game also features the Gyaos invasion, with the Gyaos sporting two heads and bigger than Gamera.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gmrman.exe. is used by Gamera 2000, If you shut down gmrman.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop gmrman.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Gamera 2000, from your system.
