What is  geeda.dll

The file geeda.dll is identified by F-Secure as Win32/Vundo.dam and by Symantec as Trojan.Vundo. Vundo, also known as VirtuMonde and VirtuMundo, is a malicious application that combines both adware and Trojan characteristics. Once installed in the system, it downloads and displays popup advertisements that often promote questionable computer-enhancement programs or fake anti-spyware utilities like WinAntiSpyware and WinAntiVirus Pro 2006. There are many other symptoms of Trojan.Vundo infection that can be observed in the system, depending on the variety of Vundo infection. The common functionality among this family of Trojans is the propensity to download annoying advertising popups that are often associated with rogue anti-spyware, and their tendency to root themselves in the system, making removal difficult. Some behaviors that are associated with Trojan.Vundo include periodic system freeze, installation of a pornographic adware, constant crash results for the Internet Explorer, and the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) appearing on the screensaver.
