The file gadcom.exe is identified as malware by antivirus software, and is classified as Trojan:Win32/Matcash.KY by Microsoft, which is a member of the Matcash family that is downloaded and installed by other malware. The Matcash is a multi-component family of Trojans that downloads and executes arbitrary files. Once installed in the system, this Trojan drops a copy of itself in the system and modifies the system registry so that its dropped copy runs every time Windows starts. The Trojan:Win32/Matcash.Ky gathers information about the system, including the hardware and software, and sends these information to a remote server that is controlled by its developer. This Trojan requires interaction with a hacker in order to fulfill its purpose of controlling the computer. The hacker may not be the person responsible for creating this malware, but someone who has taken advantage of the presence of the Trojan. Hackers usually employ a port scanner to scan computers in a network to find a system infected with a Trojan that can be used to gain control of the target computer.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gadcom.exe. is used by Trojan Matcash.KY, If you shut down gadcom.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop gadcom.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Trojan Matcash.KY, from your system.
