Another process name of the file fxssvc.exe is Fax Service. This process belongs to the Microsoft Windows Operating System software or the Microsoft Fax Server developed by the Microsoft company. It is a Fax monitor which checks on the modem or the incoming call such as retrieving fax names and numbers directly from the Word documents. The user may also send bulk mail and merge faxes using the Outlook contacts or other fax database. It has a file size of 267,776 bytes and runs on Windows 95, Windows NT, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems. The file can be found in C:\Windows\System32 sub folder.
