The file fwportal.exe, known as FriendlyAccess front-end Module, belongs to software FriendlyAccess by Friendly Technologies. The process FriendlyAccess enables the user to access the online services and solutions offered by Friendly Technologies. Friendly Technologies aim to provide low cost, high performance, and secure asset-tracking solutions to the retail industry. The services offered by the company include the solution called S-Track, which enables the user to maximize the efficiency of stock management systems by tracking in real-time an unlimited number of products that are stored in the retail premises. The S-Track program can locate and identify individual products on the retail floor, at the tills or in the stockroom, with high accuracy and reliability. The program can be employed to locate misplaced products, detect moving items, and display the status of the shop inventory, for example moving, misplaced or low-stock products at different levels like shelves and rooms, and in different granularities such as models and colors.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fwportal.exe. is used by S-track, If you shut down fwportal.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fwportal.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is S-track, from your system.
