The frxhser.exe file is the process called ATI FGL Rseries Util Service that is used by the application ATI FireGL by ATI Technologies. This program does not have a visible window. It is not a system process that originates from the software installed in the system. It is not a core file for Windows. The frxhser.exe file has a digital signature from Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher with certificate issued by VeriSign Time Stamping Service. This process automatically runs on services installed and on running processes. ATI FireGL is a line of video cards now known as FirePro 3D. It is designed for DCC or Digital Content Creation and CAD or Computer Aided Design software. The ATI FireGL is a series of graphics accelerators for PCI Express workstation that provides solutions for purposes such as visual effects creation and mechanical subassemblies designing.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. frxhser.exe. is used by ATI FireGL, If you shut down frxhser.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop frxhser.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ATI FireGL, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as ATI FireGL, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
