The freepopsservice.exe file is a process that is used by the application NSIS FreePOPS created by NSIS. It is not a core file for Windows that means the operating system does not require this process to run. There is no visible window for this program. You can access the NSIS FreePOPs program on Windows Control Panel. It is a non-system process that originates from the software installed in the system. FreePOPs is a software that enables access to various resources through POP3 protocol. It allows you to download mails from the Web, use it as RSS feeds aggregator and more. NSIS FreePOPs is free software. The freepopsservice.exe file automatically runs on services installed and on running processes. This file has no digital signature.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. freepopsservice.exe. is used by NSIS FreePOPs, If you shut down freepopsservice.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop freepopsservice.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is NSIS FreePOPs, from your system.
