The fortisslvpndaemon.exe process is an executable file that is implemented with data encoding specifications and program logic compilation standards normally used for storing source code in the EXE file format. The fortisslvpndaemon.exe process is bundled with the FortiClient SSL VPN Service module that was developed by Fortinet. This software is an application that is installed in a client computer to implement required functionalities for accessing the VPN (Virtual Private Network) solutions provided by Fortinet. The FortiClient SSL VPN Service module references the source code stored in the fortisslvpndaemon.exe process in order to implement security checks and initiate processes for connecting to the predesignated Fortinet VPN server.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fortisslvpndaemon.exe. is used by FortiClient SSL VPN Service, If you shut down fortisslvpndaemon.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fortisslvpndaemon.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is FortiClient SSL VPN Service, from your system.
