The flsdevcp.exe file is the process called FLSDEVCP that is used by FLSDEVCP Application developed by Data Encryption Systems. It is a non-system process that originates from the program installed in the system. It is not a core file for Windows therefore the operating system does not require this process to run. The flsdevcp.exe file is a safe process. It has a digital signature from Data Encryption Systems Ltd with certificate issued by VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer. The program runs when you boot Windows. The registry key for this process is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. The flsdevcp.exe process automatically starts on the local machine for autorun registry entries or on running processes. Data Encryption Systems is a company that develops copyright protection software and encryption systems to protect valuable data and intellectual property.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. flsdevcp.exe. is used by FLSDEVCP Application, If you shut down flsdevcp.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop flsdevcp.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is FLSDEVCP Application, from your system.
