FATrayAlert Application is the name of the background process that gets loaded on the system through the file fatrayalert.exe. Although there is not much information available about what the application’s main purpose is, most users find the file installed together with their Fast Access software. Most of the time, the software comes pre-installed on their laptops. The file appears to display a System Tray icon for the software, based on some users’ observation. The software meanwhile, provides a different kind of security for the PC, by enabling a face recognition log-in option for the user, instead of the usual keying-in of username and password. The software allows the user to immediately enable their desktop and access their files once the software has recognized the face of the user and has authenticated it as being an authorized entity to log into the machine. The software is licensed by Sensible Vision. File path on disk is C:\Program Files\Sensible Vision\Fast Access\fatrayalert.exe.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fatrayalert.exe. is used by FATrayAlert Application, If you shut down fatrayalert.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fatrayalert.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is FATrayAlert Application, from your system.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as FATrayAlert Application, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application.
