What is  fastboot.exe

The Microsoft Office Fast Cache, also known as the fastboot.exe process, is a program that enhances Microsoft Office applications’ overall performance. Programs such as the DDLs or Dynamic Link Libraries and OLE are loaded by this file when applications are started. When this EXE file is running, it operates significantly and improves the opening of Microsoft Office application and eases saving a Microsoft Office document file. With the fastboot.exe process, copying and pasting with the OLE components speeds up the processes of using Microsoft Office document files. Dramatic effects are included within the fastboot.exe file such as the printing of Microsoft Office documents. This EXE file is not needed to be executed during Windows startup. It is a part of Microsoft Office 95 and can be disabled; however, this is not a part of a Windows core file but often starts when Window starts. This process is loaded automatically whenever the computer boots up.
